Why hello there,
Today I am going to do another cooking blog! I haven’t done one for quite a bit of time so I thought it was time. I made Baked Sweet Potato Crisps and they were SO GOOOOOODDDDDDDD 😍 It makes me feel so good knowing that I am eating something so tasty that is actually healthy!
So here is the recipe (if you want to see the original click here):
I N G R E D I E N T S
2 Large Sweet Potatoes (I actually used 5, and therefore more olive oil and salt)
2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 teaspoon of salt
Half a teaspoon smoked Paprika
R E C I P E
- Preheat oven to 121 C or 250 degrees F
- Rinse thoroughly and dry the sweet potatoes
- Slice them as thin as possible. Use a mandolin if you have one. If you don’t have one use a very sharp knife. Know that chips that are too thick in parts won’t crisp up all the way. Still delicious, just not “chip” crispiness.
- Toss slices in the olive oil to lightly coat and then sprinkle with salt.
- Lay out in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 2 hours, flipping chips at least once at halfway point to ensure even cooking.
- Remove once crisp and golden brown. Leave for 10 minutes or so to crisp up before eating. Serve immediately afterwards

Hello my loveliessss,
A you could probably tell from the title of this blog, it was someone’s birthday today and to celebrate, my family and I went out for a lovely dinner! No, no it wasn’t my birthday, but my beautiful and caring mother’s birthday, who I love to the moon and back! We decided to go to one of my absolute favourite restaurants Bitton for dinner! I adore going there because 1. The food is so amazing it is not funny! 2. The staff are always really polite and kind and 3. The actual design and ‘vibe’ I get from this restaurant is outstanding!
While I was writing this blog, I thought to myself I a may as well write an OOTD so here it is… I didn’t actually wear this to dinner because in my opinion it didn’t look formal enough but I think it is such a great everyday outfit.
I usually don’t wear chokers, but the dress and top came with it so I put it on and I think it really matched the outfit. Of course I had to wear my converse because I am absolutely in love with them!
I chose to brighten up the outfit with a light green, embroidered bomber jacket.
So onto my super scrumptious dinner! As I said, we went to one of my favourite restaurants Bitton and my family and I all had such an amazing time. I ordered the John Dory steamed fish with potatoes and other yummy vegetables and I was not disappointed! The fish was perfectly cooked and was so delicious and tender!

I am literally drooling at the thought of all the food 🙂
We had such a great time going out and my mum was surprised with delicious chocolate cupcakes and a chocolate fudge cake!
